Set time on BrowserStack real devices
App Live enables you to set exact time in BrowserStack real devices to test time-based scenarios for your app, such as time-specific notifications and updates, test cases with future timelines, test timestamps for chat sessions on remote devices, etc.
This guide provides information about setting time manually on BrowserStack real iOS devices. On BrowserStack real Android devices, you can set the time by launching your App Live test session and following the procedure mentioned in Google documentation.

Set time on BrowserStack real iOS devices
- Log in to the App Live dashboard.
- Upload or install your app, and select the iOS device from the device listing, to launch your test session.
- On the App Live vertical toolbar, click iOS Settings > General > Device Time.
- In the Device Time section on the prompt, select from the dropdowns to set the time in the
HH:MM XM
format, and click Update Device Time.
You see a message on the dashboard that the device time is updated.
The Set Device Time Automatically setting is disabled by default. If you enable this setting, you cannot set the time manually on the device.
